Malek’s interest for electronic dance music started at a young age as he was listening to dj radios shows and dance music compilations. In the late 90’s, he discovered the underground dance music and, few years later, started to develop an interest in Trance & Progressive and in DJ’s that play this type of music. In 2007, he decided to purchase his first turn tables and develop his passion for music and deejaying. On a Monday night of July 2008, he realised one of his goals: deejay in a sold-out club composed of friends and family. What was suppose to be a one night experience has become the beginning of an impressive journey…

Influenced by world’s top DJ, Armin Van Buuren, he understood that a successful DJ needs to transmit his passion and give all he has on the decks at each appearance. He became, after a few months, in 2009, one of the most successful Trance & Progressive DJ in Montreal. In 2010, he kept on rising on the local trance scene and reached a larger audience. He already played at Montreal’s favorite clubs such as Opera, Circus Afterhours, Red Lite, Beach Club, Warehouse, Café des Eclusiers and played alongside big names such as Glenn Morrison, Marco V, Blake Jarrell, Arnej, Richard Durand, Martin Roth, Leon Bolier & Jerome Isma-Ae.

In 2011, Malek’s career has reach a whole new level. On April 24 2011, he shared the decks with the biggest names in the world of dance music like  Tiesto, Above  Beyond, Markus Schulz  Sander Van Doorn & Cosmic Gate as he was selected in the lineup of the 17th edition of Bal En Blanc. Few weeks later, he shared the decks with the No 1 DJ in the world and idol, Armin Van Buuren. Malek’s journey into the electronic dance music continues…
